forged blind flanges' specifications and process

There is no bore in the central area of forged flanges, so it is called blind. They are frequently used in petroleum industry, natural gas system, chemical industry, shipping industry etc.

Blind is used for pipeline ends to prevent fluid from leaving there. The size range is from 1/2inch to 60inch. Main standard include ASME, GOST, JIS, DIN, BS and so on.

Production process: raw material--cutting--heating--forging--heat treatment--marching--inspection.
